From Stephen King to Covid to becoming a writing mentor, my path has had a variety of bumps along the way. The most important thing I want to get across is that it is perfectly ok for your journey not to go exactly the way you wanted, often times that can be beneficial, and can make you better in the end. The important thing is to continue to try, even if you feel despair, you must try.
